Project Description and Scope:
The work was for the installation of a fire ventilation system in order to protect patrons during a major fire evacuation.
State supplied, installed and tested the subway ventilation fan assemblies (4) and supplied and installed electrical power, control and communication equipment, wiring, cabling and test and commissioning of the above, related to the new fan assemblies for a functional emergency ventilation system.
As well as large electrical power and controls package, there was a significant structural and civil package which included digging under Yonge St. to tie into existing subway structure.
