TransCanada Station 130 Update Project
Project Description and Scope:
The TransCanada Station 130 Update Project was the complete construction of a $25 million new Natural Gas Compression facility which included the installation of (2) Solar MARS gas compressors for the existing Station 130 Plant in Toronto, Ontario.
State was the Prime Contractor on the project and self‐performed most services including all civil ground disturbance work, concrete foundations, site services and all yard work. State was responsible for pile foundations and erection of the sound attenuated Gas Compression building. State set all of the equipment, including the (2) gas turbine/compressor packages, ancillaries and APU (Standby Generator) Skid Building. State also shop fabricated 3 large skid buildings in our CSA A660 Certified shop and installed them on site.
State shop fabricated and installed on site all large bore (up to 42”), small bore piping & all supports from the yard limits to the compressors, including High Pressure Gas, Fuel Gas, Utility Gas, Lube Oil, and other services. State also completed all electrical and instrumentation systems, including all instrument tubing and devices.

- Project Schedule started February 2013, substantial completion was achieved in August 2013, and the facility was available for service in November 2013
