The State Group was the Prime Contractor for the supply and installation of 3 new 1350kW natural gas stand-by generators on the 20th floor of the West Tower of Toronto City Hall. The generators allow the City of Toronto the opportunity for curtailment and operation of these units for non‐emergency use.
The installation also included the installation of 1 – 4” (future life safety generator) and 1 – 6” natural gas line, silencers, exhaust venting/stacks, structural steel supports and raised platform system.
This challenging multi-trade project was completed safely and on time to the satisfaction of all stakeholders at Toronto City Hall.
