The State Group Celebrates Construction Safety Week 2026
This week, The State Group celebrated Construction Safety Week across all of our US and Canadian divisions. Construction Safety Week is an annual awareness week focused on celebrating the safety leaders and craft professionals who are the backbone of our safety efforts. This week of training and awareness puts a spotlight on safety and empowers employees with the skills to foster a safety-first workplace culture.
“Construction Safety Week is an excellent opportunity for our teams to show off what they do best: put safety first,” said Brian Jones, State Group’s Chief Executive Officer. “From Toronto to Georgia, The State Group and our Family of Companies came together this week to renew our commitment to safety and learn new tips and techniques to ensure Everyone Goes Home Safe. The State Group is committed to creating an industry-leading safety culture, and our efforts this Construction Safety Week are just the start of some really exciting safety improvements we have planned for this year.”
The State Group’s activities focused on the three core pillars of Construction Safety Week 2026:
- Recognize the presence and impact of High Energy, High Hazard, and STCKY activities
- Respond by putting direct controls in place during the planning phase
- Respect every hazard, every person, every life, and every role in safety
Teams hosted safety breakfasts and lunches and participated in daily toolbox talks and safety stand downs focused on Recognizing, Responding to, and Respecting some of the most dangerous hazards they face in the workplace. Thank you to each and every member of the State Group team for your commitment to safety!
