The State Group Re-Purposes Office Furniture and Supports Habitat for Humanity

This morning, we donated 20 excess office desks to the Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga Restore #HabitatHM. Re-purposing office furniture means less waste ends up in our landfills. This donation also contributes to Habitat’s mandate of building affordable housing. “The partnership with Habitat for Humanity is a natural fit for State Group since we are a construction company. We started our corporate partnership last year by organizing a corporate fundraising campaign, supporting Habitat Build Days as well as contributing building tools” says Paulina Barnes, Director of Business Development, The State Group.
Contractors with surplus materials and supplies can connect with a local ReStore to make a donation. For home renovators, consider a sustainable choice and shop at a local ReStore.
