Case Studies
Bruce Power Demineralization Facility
This facility was constructed by a Joint Venture Partnership with The State Group and Worley Parsons Canada. The equipment was designed and supplied by Veolia Water Solutions, one of the world leaders in water treatment technology.
Detweiler T.S. S.V.C.
The State Group, a Subcontractor to A.B.B. were recently contracted to construct a Static Var Compensator for HONI at the Detweiler T.S. site in Kitchener.
St. Joseph Wind Farm 60 Siemens 1.8MW Turbines
St. Joseph Wind Farm reached full operation in March of 2011, becoming the largest wind energy project in Manitoba.
Ghost Pine Wind Farm 51 Towers/51 GE Turbines
Scope of work included substation, 5 feeder circuits with provisions for future collection system, 72km of 35kV underground collection tower wiring on 51 GE 1.6MW turbines, all in a 12 week installation window.
ABB/Hydro One Hearn SS
The Hearn SS project was an expansion and update to an existing 115kV Hydro One Switchyard located in the Portlands area of Toronto, ON.
Hydro One Evergreen Relay Building
The Evergreen Substation Relay Building project was adjacent to the new Greenfield 500kV Hydro One Switchyard located just outside of London, Ontario.
