HEIGHTS RESCUE TRAINING EXERCISE

For one of our current projects, The State Group identified a requirement to be able to provide safe rescue capabilities at an extreme height and potential harsh weather conditions in case of an incident requiring emergency services. As this is a unique environment created by project, local EMS services would not typically have the required equipment and training to undertake an emergency response of this nature. Working with our safety and construction professionals, a comprehensive safety plan was developed which included all of the hazard assessments, equipment requirements, training and communications protocol necessary. While we hope that we that we never are required to put this plan into action, our employees can perform their responsibilities to execute this project feeling confident they are protected in case of incident.

This is just the latest example of State’s continued investment in safety to protect our employees and provide highly trained and skilled safety and construction personnel to our valued clients and communities. Watch the video of some of the plan in a simulated exercise here.
